Who Am I? A Women’s Day Event at Pines

On Sunday, February 7, 2026 the Daughters of the Vine hosted their first Women’s Day Event with the theme of “Who Am I?” It was an awesome event with 6 women giving their testimony of how God worked in their lives and coming through heartbreaking events.  DD Hostetter and Sheila Ambler provided the music throughout the event, which was beautiful! Many who came sang along with the lyrics, which were posted in the bulletin handed out at as attendees came in. Emmy Riddle, an Elder at Pines, gave the message at the end of the event entitled “Being the Example.”

The Women of Pines provided a wonderful meal for all; and, a special thank you to Lynzey Whitlock who made cheesecakes for dessert! All of the women who attended received a “Glad Bag” with many things inside to take with them. Many thanks to all who helped make this event possible; and, here’s to the next one coming in Spring 2027!
